Its decision time

I have been reading your comments, particularly to the last post and I want to clear out a few things:
1. Some of you think I have toned down. This is a correct observation. I made a conscious effort to write things in a milder way. Why did I do that? To be frrank, I had (and still have) serious thoughts of announcing who I am after the finals. When I do that, I don't want you guys to have a grudge on me. At that time, I would like to see comments like "it was fun, we had a good laugh" rather than comments like "how dare you said something like this about me". Besides, even with a milder version and my "Word of Caution", some of you seem to be hunting for my head which saddens me.

2. There was this comment saying that I'm abusing ppl!!! Really, am I ? I don't think I have abused even a single person on this blog till now. I've said this before, my only intention behind this blog is good-natured humor and banter during fun kriket. My thoughts behind the blog were that what if no one covers fun kriket. Lets have a blog that ppl can read daily just like a newspaper .... for updates. But its just a shame that some guys are not man enough to bite the bullet.

3. Till the current date and time, yours truly has not posted any comment on this blog. So I dont know who is posting comments like "say whatever u say I do whatever I do" etc. My guess is as good as yours. Please do not trust any comments made on my behaf, its simply not me. If I have to say something I'll post it in the blog, I will never comment.

Now then, going by the comments and a couple of "hate emails" that I have received, I want to make a decision folks. I can take whatever you throw at me. Call me kala bandar, ba****, bh****, call me anything. What I cannot see is losing trust and friendship of my friends, particularly those of you who are close to me. I can see my close friends using cus words seriously against me which hurts. So do I stop all this? Do I stop writing? I don't think thats the right thing to do but I don't know if I should stop and I cannot decide.
Besides, I am a democrat. I am here for you, of you and by you. This blog is here for YOUR entertainment, our entertainment. The blog belongs to YOU as much as it belongs to me. So I want YOU guys to decide and tell me what I should do. Your options are:
A. Keep blogging, without toning down. Uncensored. Write in full swing. But then I don't reveal myself in the end.
B. Keep blogging but be mild. let know your identity in the end.
C. Stop this non-sense.
D. F***-off, we don't care.

One small request, please honour the democratic spirit of this blog and comment your vote only once. Would be great if you can let me know the reasons for your answer as well. Also, no comment would indicate option C or D to me.

I'll see if I get sufficient number of positive comments. I will also observe your reactions and discussions during my interactions with you. Based on that I will decide whether this is the end of my blogging career OR if I get back to report fun in the matches next week. Till then, goodbye. But ofcourse I'll keep seeing you at the ground daily :)

Keep blogging......remember there will always be people (saddistic) who want to spoil the fun for everyone. As long as you are not personal and donot focus on a particular team or person......you are doing an awesome job. Cheers

Guys, please do not restrict the blogging world by your freaking guidelines. You the blogger, please go ahead as you can see the overwhelming response.

  20. looks like you have time to watch the matches then go home and read the blog and pass comments does it look like you have no time? relax, dont get all exited just because your name can not be on the blog. What you've said about guts is absolutely right. By supporting this blog you are supporting all that don't forget! Its supposed to be fun cricket blogger , dont make people cry or hurt them, it is none of your business how they lead their life, if they prefer to drink or not or if they are old enough to play or not, if you have an objection then talk to them or the commitee, is anyone commenting about you? If yes then it would be fair and acceptable. You are pathetic for having fun at others expense !

  32. Guys. The blogger is just decieving all of us. It's nt one person who is writing all this. It is impossible for any one guy to sustain such intensity. I am sure that it is a group of 3 (possibly 4) people who are doing this. So, let stop getting on akshay's back.

Hint: I saw three people at the stands yest near the football field who were keeping a close eye on the activities on the ground. Akshay and Vinay were nt among them. However, I cannot reveal their names right now as I am nt sure abt it. But, what I can just say is that two of them had matches on saturday and one of them had a match on sunday. I'll keep a close eye on them and will reveal all three of them here onec I gain some confidence.

  38. I agree with one of the commetns above that more than one people are writing this. I think it is the group of former isa presidents ;)

    ReplyDelete

  41. i am pity sure tht this is the work of former isa presidents and their associates...

    ReplyDelete
  42. former ISA president, his team and his associates for sure... Their is hardly a mention about their team as someone has already pointed out...All of you in Tale-enders are responsible for this...

    ReplyDelete
  43. naah the Tail-enders are too decent for this crap....only akshay and gang know some of the andhra guys pet names.....former ISA presidents would not stoop down to this level of negative fun

    ReplyDelete
  44. Guys stop throwing names randomly..... unless blogger identifies himself/herself/themselves it's not possible to confirm anything about identity.... so stop this random fucking shit.

    ReplyDelete
  45. If you observe closely who revealed their identity while commenting...
every person who gave A are not targeted too much on the blog! So they want to have fun at others expence...
Say if the dudes who went for A were said appam ch***iya or bhikari or a dog behind a ball in the blog, will they still go for A??
If all of you who gave A will give A again though you are called appam ch***iya, I appreciate your way of taking comments.
I will go for A in that case.
Otherwise I will go for C

    ReplyDelete
  46. The before comment was mine...
i want to add some thing...
I don't have problem revealing my identity.
As the blogger is hiding, He dont deserve to know the identity of person who is commenting.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I guess, so many comments are repeating from same person to encourage you. Just as a suggestion take consideration those votes/comments which are come from having a profile name.

In my opinion being mild would be in the best interest. It hearts a few sensitive people.

    ReplyDelete
  48. who the fuck are you to comment on others and hurt their feelings. Try writing something good on others not bad. Imagine yourself in that positon before you write. Its shows that you have sadistic nature who enjoys when other get hurt..try developing ur personality dude
    A big C for you.......

  72. I have been reading the post and the comments that followed for quite sometime. The mood of the blog seems to be initially from many in support of continuing the blog to personal diatribe on suspected authors. Many anonymous comments conclude on who the author of the blog is. A couple of names and groups of persons have been mentioned. The ISA has been accused of supporting the blog and mentioned as one of the authors of the blog.

If fun cricket is supposed to be for fun, I don't think these will do any good other than creating mutual suspicions and antagonisms. I would rather refrain from spelling out the name(s) of the author or anyone in public forum based on suspicions and inconclusive evidence. And even if I am sure I would rather think twice. I am also wondering the nature of those comments that prompted the blog administrator to remove it as there are many other with swear words and quite unacceptable
    language which are approved.

And with the last two, I see ominous signs of a regional rivalry ensuing possibly with lame reasons. I may be exaggerating but this definitely seems to be the impression on reading the post. It will be interesting to see where the situation leads to..

    ReplyDelete
  73. All those idiots who are turning this into some regional rivalry get some life dudes.. We are all here to play not to fight or outburst your bull shit idicracy like regionalism. Now this blog is turning into what is supposed to be spicing up the tournament to a chat blog where each one is shitting out their stupid feelings of gender, caste or region. Be spirited individuals..

    ReplyDelete
  74. I agree with the last message. It hurts to read our generation of Indians' preoccupation with regionalism coupled with hatred. The parochialism which has been dragging our society down for ages has been expressed again by so called 'modern Indian'. Shame on you! If this blog is an excuse to fight among ourselves, I would sincerely request the blogger to disable it for once and all. Thank you very much.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Damm, this is going from nowhere to somewhere. I strongly recommend the author to completely delete the blog. The blogger thought his blog would end up in spicing up the tournament but i guess it would end up in rivalry and hatred among people. I again suggest you to remove the blog before something becomes serious. then you will be fucking responsible for everything. I guess u are not that bad of a guy/girl

    ReplyDelete
  76. Actually, this whole thing is getting kinda out of control... Fun cricket is supposed to be a fun event... but this blog is making people swear and angry... The solution is simple, the people who dont like the blog, just dont give any importance to it... and the people who do like it, carry on reading it...

The very fact that the blogger is not willing to reveal himself/herself at the end of the tournament confirms the fact that he/she knows that he/she has said some stuff which has definitely hurt some people and that some things are totally inappropriate. If the blogger is going to continue to write about things that he/she can not say after revealing his/her identity, stuff that he/she knows is inappropriate, I definitely go with C.

One last thing... I think the blogger has a lot of potential in creative writing, looking back at his/her thought process... though most of it is not very considerate of the blogger about the people who he is writing about, the mind that thought about all this certainly has a lot of creative potential. I think if he/she channels this into a positive energy instead of negative, this blog can turn out to be a good report of the event after all.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think there is space for the option B compared to completely stopping the blog. What say guys?

    ReplyDelete
  78. well said sushanth (in the 12:20 AM post)... ;) .... let the blogger continue n people who want to continue reading it can continue and others jus give a damn...
